The Board of Directors proposes to amend the club’s Bylaws as follows. The underlined section is to be added.
ARTICLE IV, Section 2
The trails and groomer committee chairpersons shall have the power to spend up to $750 between meetings of the Board of Directors. All other official committee chairpersons shall have the power to spend up to $300 between meetings of the Board of Directors. A report shall be made in person or in writing to the Board of Directors at the next Board meeting. Greater amounts need Board approval. Emergency situations may be approved via phone or email voting to expedite a decision.
This change is proposed to allow the club to act quickly when making needed purchases to maintain the trails and groomers. The current limit of is too restrictive as many necessary and routine purchases exceed the limit. This proposed change will be voted on at the next general meeting to be held 3 pm, Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the Constantia VFW.
